We spoke with Jason Bruce, the owner and founder of Orthotechnix, in his bright and cheery orthodontic laboratory in Norwest Business Park, Sydney.
Orthotechnix makes a range of orthodontic appliances, including: retainers, aligners, functional appliances for correcting class 2 maloclusions, an array of expansion appliances for developing arches, mouthguards and splints.
Jason started his career as an apprentice at RMIT in Melbourne and moved to Sydney in 1999. He generously took the time to sit down with us and share some of the lessons he's learned over his long and successful career.
A focus on making it great for customers
Jason's easygoing and amenable approach to customer service permeates through his business and results in great relationships that stand the test of time.
If someone calls for a rush job, his small but highly specialised team at Orthotechnix will find a way to make it happen.
"Our clients are very busy people and they need to rely on their lab service." Says Jason.
An uncompromising approach to quality
Quality is incredibly important and a daily pursuit.
"Busy orthodontic clients need to be able to rely on the fact that their appliances will work, fit and require little to no adjustment. And for the patient, fit, comfort and aesthetics are all equally important".
Streamlining his business with Dentaurum
Jason decided to streamline his business operations by ordering everything he can from Dentaurum.
He chose Dentaurum because the whole system works together.
"The Dentaurum system takes the guess work out of everything. It all works together."
He rates it for its quality, reliability and incredible customer service. And they share his values.
