Angel Smile Lab specialises in removable and fixed orthodontic dental appliances. Compliance through creative, colourful and fun designs
Every orthodontic clinician knows compliance is one of, if not the greatest challenge when treating children with removable appliances. Treatments become drawn out, and appliances become mysteriously damaged. Yana and Dimi set about changing this dynamic with creative, colourful and fun designs. Practitioners are encouraged to discuss the design of the appliance with their child patients. They explore their favourite characters and colours. A detailed drawing and description will often accompany the practitioner’s brief. It’s a technique that is incredibly engaging and harnesses children’s naturally uninhibited creativity.
The results are extraordinary works of art that children love and want to wear. It’s a creative solution to the compliance challenge that has been incredibly successful and spectacularly popular.

“We use Orthocryl acrylics, 3D separating medium, wires and crozat wires for all our removable alliances. I’ve lost count of the number of positive responses I’ve had back from other technicians when we recommend Dentaurum’s 3D separating medium. We also use expansion screws and hyrax® screws. We have an Assistent 3000 Spot Welder and various instruments. We find the pliers, in particular, to be very good to use."
