Dentaurum is excited to announce the launch of ceraMotion® Z zirconia blanks in Australia and New Zealand. The development of ceraMotion® Z brings Dentaurum advanced technology to zirconia blanks for the first time. Most significantly, it completes Dentaurum’s total integrated ceramics solution. Now, the ceraMotion® system is the world’s most refined, state of the art ceramics solution for natural all-ceramic dental restorations.
The ceraMotion® story
Dentaurum’s team of material scientists, biomaterial engineers and dental technicians has developed the ceraMotion® portfolio over two decades. They have concentrated on developing high-quality materials that will play an essential part in developing dental practice over the medium and long term.
Over time, the range has expanded to include an extensive range of veneering ceramics across anterior and posterior restorations.
The new chapter - ceraMotion® Z
Zirconium oxide is the first-choice material for highly aesthetic prosthetic restorations due to its many possible uses, biocompatibility and visual shade matching ability.
The six different ceraMotion® Z blank compositions cover all zirconium oxide-based indications and offer maximum reliability in shading and processing. State-of-the-art materials technology within the concept of solutions makes ceraMotion® Z the smart choice for natural all-ceramic restorations.
ceraMotion® Z was exposed to rigorous field testing by 15 laboratories in six countries across Australia, Europe and North America. The products were received with great admiration for their milling behaviour, sintering performance, aesthetic qualities, and veneering and finishing performance.
The ceraMotion® Z zirconia blank range totals 165 products, available in heights from 14mm – 25mm.
Indications include:
- ceraMotion® Z Hybrid. A multi-shaded, multi-layered zirconium oxide that provides a genuinely multi-use material. It combines the aesthetics of 1,000MPA zirconium oxide with the strength of highly translucent zirconium oxide in one blank. It offers pure aesthetics and is suitable for all anterior and posterior work
- ceraMotion® Cubic Multishade. Provides ultra-high translucence and multi-shading for inlays, veneers, single crowns and 3-unit bridges. With a translucency of 49%, the restoration displays natural light dynamics after sintering
- ceraMotion® Z HR Mutishade. Provides high-strength and high translucence with multi-shading. A biaxial strength of 1,200 MPa is achieved, providing maximum safety from single crowns to multi-element restorations or implant sub-structures
- ceraMotion® Z HT Shade. Provides 1,200MPa biaxial strength, high translucency across all V-Classic shades
- ceraMotion® Z HT White. Provides 1,200MPa biaxial strength with high translucency. It makes an ideal framework for classic veneering
- ceraMotion® Z White. Provides 1,200 Mpa biaxial strength with reduced translucency, making it ideal for masking discoloured stumps and metal abatements.

- ceraMotion® Zr. Veneering ceramics for zirconium oxide and lithium disilicate frameworks.
- ceraMotion® LiSi. A lithium disilicate press ceramic that harmonises perfectly with ceraMotion® veneering ceramics and One Touch Finishing Pastes
- ceraMotion® Me. A veneering ceramic for metal frameworks
- ceraMotion® Ti. A veneering ceramic for titanium and titanium alloys
- ceraMotion® Lf. A low-fusing veneering ceramic for alloys with a high CTE value.
