The 41st International Dental Show (IDS) 2025, held from March 25 to 29 in Cologne, Germany, was nothing short of extraordinary. This year's event marked a monumental milestone in the global dental industry, setting new records in growth, international participation, and groundbreaking advancements.
IDS 2025 solidified its reputation as the ultimate gathering for dental professionals, manufacturers, and researchers from around the world.
IDS 2025 drew over 135,000 visitors from 156 countries, a 15% rise from past editions. The event featured more than 2,000 exhibitors from 61 countries, filling 180,000 square metres of space. Impressively, 77% were international exhibitors, showcasing the growing global interest in the dental industry.
The growth in exhibitor participation and visitor attendance at IDS reflects the overall expansion of the dental industry.

"The dental industry is projected to double in size over the next seven years, driven by advancements in technology, increased awareness of oral health, and the rising demand for dental services." Mark Stephen Pace.

Visitors were treated to a dazzling array of groundbreaking innovations in digital workflows, with live demonstrations highlighting the integration of artificial intelligence into diagnostics and treatment planning. Sustainability was also a major focus, with numerous exhibits dedicated to eco-friendly practices within dental clinics and showcasing new materials in restorative dentistry.
