remanium star: The ultimate alloy
Dentaurum’s remanium® star range consists of ingots, blanks and powder. remanium® star is fully compatible with ceraMotion® ceramics. It’s a part of Dentaurum’s complete foundations solutions for digital restoration.
remanium® star is suitable for:
- Crowns
- Bridges
- Ceramic veneering/facings
- Removable partial denture
- Palatal expansion
- Anatomical crowns
remanium® star alloys are a symbol of quality in prosthetics
remanium® star alloys are modern bonding alloys with excellent processing properties and low hardness. They are suitable for all processing technologies, such as casting, milling and laser melting.
They are straightforward to work with, with excellent melting and flow behaviour, especially when milling or polishing due to the exceptionally reduced hardness. They have outstanding ceramic fusion due to the low coefficient of thermal expansion.
remanium® star alloys are flexible in their use – they can be melted in a high-frequency induction casting unit or with the propane/oxygen torch as it will not spatter during melting.
remanium® star blanks are time tested in crown and bridge work
The remanium® blanks range comprises proven high-tech CoCr bonding alloys for CAD/CAM milling systems. remanium® blanks are a certified and time-tested base material for all applications in crown and bridge work.
remanium® blanks are 100% free of porosity and contraction cavities, as well as hot isostatically compressed. The homogeneous structure of the material facilitates uniform, easy machinability on the respective milling machine. They have excellent laser weldability and are ideal for ceramic veneering using the conventional CTE range.
remanium® star powder is ideal for the laser melting process
Dentaurum has decades of experience in powder metallurgy in dental prosthetics and orthodontics. Newly launched in Australia, remanium® star powder is a CoCr dental alloy fine powder for the laser melting process.
It has the same composition as the proven remanium® alloys for milling and casting. The grain size distribution of 10 – 30 μm is ideal for many laser melting units and areas of applications.
remanium® star powder is highly suited for clasp-retained dentures production, delivering results comparable to cast constructions. A modified CTE value ensures excellent ceramic bonding for crowns and bridges.
remanium® and ceraMotion® work together in perfect harmony
Once the foundation is complete using the remanium® alloys, blanks and powder, our ceraMotion® range finishes the process with our ceraMotion One Touch ceramic paste and ceraMotion® ceraMotion LiSi lithium disilicate press ceramics.
